A quiet mountain village, tourist free, a charming mountain inn. We’ll hike to Pan’s cave through mountain fields awash in poppies and wild mustard, harvesting mountain tea, lavender, Bay leaves … We’ll visit a traditional cheese making shop and learn about why Mount Menalon honey is prized in Greece.  We’ll visit the Lousios Gorge where monks defied gravity with monasteries clinging to the sides of cliffs. Our third day we’ll head across the mountain to Ancient Olympia and visit Greece’s first world heritage site, the Temple of Apollo Epikouros at Vasses. Our day ends with a gentle walk to a tropical looking waterfall. This is Greece like you’ve never seen her!
